Please note that there are no official site for the laying of flowers within this Parish but flowers may be laid at the official site at Bell Meadow, Chelmsford
Proclamations
The proclamation of the new King, Charles III is due to be broadcast on television on Saturday 10th September. Essex County Council will issue a proclamation at County Hall at 1pm on Sunday 11th September which will be read out by the High Sheriff.

Parish Council business
Although the day to day business of activities of the Parish Council will continue please note that in this period of mourning no Parish Council meetings will be taking place.
Events
More information will be posted shortly regarding Memorial events within the Parish and in the local area -
The Church of St Martin in Little Waltham will be open for prayer and reflection during daylight hours.
The Church will also be holding a service on 18th September at 11am which will include prayers for the late Queen and the new King
At 8pm on Sunday 18th September 2022 there will be a national moment of reflection comprising of a one minute silence. The spokesman for new Prime Minister Liz Truss has stated 'Britons will be invited to come together, and to “mourn and reflect on the life and legacy” of the Queen'
